Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of the adult Goku
who, along with his companions, defends the earth against an assortment
of villains ranging from intergalactic space fighters and conquerors,
unnaturally powerful androids and near indestructible magical creatures.
While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Goku through childhood into adulthood, Dragon Ball Z is a continuation of his adulthood life, but at the same time parallels the maturation of his son, Gohan, as well as characters from Dragon Ball and more.

He then meets the real King Kai, who has one condition before he will
train Goku: he must think of a joke that will make him laugh. Goku gives
it his all and comes up with several weak puns that amuse King Kai
immensely.
Episode 21 - The return Of Goku
Piccolo makes the ultimate sacrifice to save Gohan from the rampaging
Saiyans. Just when all seems lost, Goku returns to Earth with an
incredible new level of power and confronts the invaders.

Goku takes a hit from
Nappa in the chest. It doesn't effect him at all! Nappa
is amazed. Goku flies into the air and hits Nappa into
the ground. Then kicks him into the air, then hits him
into the ground again. Nappa is very mad. He is beat up
very bad.
Baba
is trying to get the crystal ball to work again, but it
doesn't. Bulma and Baba yell at each other a little.
Roshi explains that the reason the ball isn't working is
because of the amount of energy the two warriors are
putting out. Bulma uses the scouter to see if they are
fighting or not.

Episode 44 - Heavy Burden
Goku is continuing his heavy gravity training
as his space ship heads toward Namek. However,
the space ship enters a magnetic storm and the gravity
machine goes out of control, constantly changing
gravity levels.
Episode 54 - Ginyu Assault
Burter
and Jeice are attacking Goku but Goku dodges the attacks
with the greatest of ease. Jeice then tells Goku to
attack him and so he does punching Jeice right in the
face. Goku said that he thought they were ready for
battle.
Nail leads Frieza away from Guru's place so that he can't get hurt. He
starts fighting Frieza, but it seems that he was unable to hold him up
though he does to give time for Dende to deliver the Dragon Balls'
password to the Z fighters.
Krillin and Gohan arrive at Frieza's spaceship and locate the Dragon
Balls, unaware that Vegeta is not far away. As the two try to figure out
what the password is, Jeice and Captain Ginyu, in Goku's body, arrive
as well.
Ginyu tries to power up with Goku's body, but it turns out what Goku's
right, was that he can't reach its full potential, because he doesn't
know how to unite body and mind.

Realizing that he's no match for the renewed Vegeta, Captain Ginyu decides to use his body-switching trick on him.

Thanks to Dende, the Eternal Dragon, Porunga, has been summoned. Unlike
Shenron, the earth's dragon, Porunga has the power to grant three
wishes.
Guru is gone, along with Porunga and Vegeta's wish. Frieza arrives,
furious at being denied his wish. He begins to fight with them. Vegeta
is confident in his new strength.
As the battle continues, Frieza decides to tell Vegeta that it was
actually he who destroyed planet Vegeta, wiping out the Saiyan race.
By transforming into a giant, Frieza has gained much more power.
Frieza's first victim is Krillin. After seeing his friend attacked,
Gohan loses control of himself and unleashes a furious attack on Frieza.
Dende heals Krillin's injuries. Krillin is then able to distract Frieza long enough for Dende to heal Gohan.
Piccolo and Frieza begin to fight. With his new power, Piccolo is able
to hold his own with Frieza. Also, since he is fused with Nail, he is
familiar with the way Frieza fights.
Piccolo is beating Frieza, but the evil tyrant has another trick up his sleeve: another transformation.
Frieza is about to finish Piccolo off, but Gohan jumps in front of his
energy blast to save him. He then fires a blast of his own at Frieza,
but Frieza is able to deflect it. Frieza decides to transform into his
final form to finish them off once and for all.
Frieza realizes that Dende has been healing his opponents, so he kills him. Now in his final form, Frieza seems unstoppable.

The episode starts off with the
Androids Flying off to find Goku. Krillin watches
in depression as he knows if the androids find Goku they

With Piccolo gone, Android 17 has no choice but to fight Cell on his own

to quickly leave the battlefield, however they wait, believing Cell to
be dead.
Tien, attempting to give 16 and 18 enough time to escape, subsequently
uses up all his energy in a vicious attack, and falls to the ground.
Goku asks Trunks about the training, but Vegeta doesn't want him to say
anything about it. Meanwhile, 18 questions 16 on his love for nature and
asks if he even cares that Cell might absorb her and kill him.
Cell obliterates a chain of islands in search of Android 18! Vegeta,
fresh from the time chamber, is ready to test his new strength against
the monster, but is he really stronger than a Super Saiyan?
It’s show-and-tell for Vegeta as he demonstrates how much difference a
year of training can make! Meanwhile, back in the time chamber, Gohan
struggles to become a Super Saiyan.
Goku and Gohan continue to push themselves forward in their training, but at this point, they may not even be needed.
With Cell being thrown around by Vegeta, Cell still attempts to exploit
Vegeta's weak point in an attempt to get the chance to absorb Android
18. With 18 in his sights, Krillin attempts to get closer to her in an
attempt to shut down the android forever.
Cell has spotted 18, but so has Trunks, and he warns Krillin, 16, and 18
that Cell knows their whereabouts, just as Cell begins flying towards
them.
Dr. Gero's dream has been realized, as Cell begins his final
transformation, with everybody but Vegeta, who has realized his own
dream of testing his strength, looking on in fear.
After allowing Cell to reach his final form, Vegeta is ready for the challenge he was promised.
Vegeta is clearly no match for Cell now he has powered up to his Perfect
form, and it seems Trunks will have no choice but to reveal his hidden
ascended power.
With Vegeta out of commission, it's up to the newly-ascended Trunks to
take down Cell. As they fight, Trunks tries to divert Cell's attention
away from his unconscious father's body, allowing Krillin to bring him
to safety.

Realizing that his powers are no match for his opponent, Trunks accepts

Sword. Gohan makes a clean cut, so the Supreme Kai conjures up a block
of the hardest metal in the universe. This time, the sword can't cut it,
and breaks under the pressure. But from out of the Z Sword comes Old
Kai, who is fifteen generations older than Supreme Kai. In exchange for a
date with Bulma, Old Kai agrees to awaken Gohan's sleeping powers.
Goten and Trunks attempt to fuse, and their first attempt yields a
weird-looking fat kid with very little power. Their second attempt
creates an old, emaciated weakling. Finally, the two are perfectly in
sync, and make Gotenks. Piccolo tells him to wait thirty minutes for the
fusion to wear off so they can try it as Super Saiyans.
As Majin Buu continues to terrorize humanity, a lone savior appears: Mr. Satan!
Episode 253 – I Kill No More (Season 08 Finale)
While the Z-Fighters continue training in preparation for their battle
with Majin Buu, Mr. Satan devises some sneakier plans to take the
villain down. But will he even need to carry them out? Is Majin Buu
having a change of heart?

coaxed into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Inside, Trunks and Goten are
training diligently, but will they have enough time to perfect their new
moves before Majin Buu arrives?
The long awaited rematch between Majin Buu and Gotenks begins! But when
Gotenks’ fighting techniques come up short, he is forced to improvise –
resulting in some of the craziest attack moves ever!
The battle between Gotenks and Majin Buu rages on inside the Hyperbolic
Time Chamber. On the outside, family and friends wait anxiously for
Gotenks and Piccolo to reappear.
Powered by his insatiable hunger, Majin Buu escapes the Hyperbolic Time
Chamber, leaving Piccolo and Gotenks trapped inside. Krillin and the
gang are forced to fight the monster on their own.
Gohan continues his training on the World of the Kais. Meanwhile,
Gotenks briefly takes the upper hand in the battle with Majin Buu before
his techniques begin to fall apart.
Super Saiyan 3 Gotenks continues his fight with Majin Buu, and the
Lookout is caught in the crossfire! As Gotenks turns up the power, so
does Majin Buu and by the time it’s over, one of them will be in way
over his head!
After being dominated on the battlefield, Majin Buu blows himself up in a desperate attempt to destroy Gohan!
After absorbing Piccolo and Gotenks, Majin Buu’s powers have increased
exponentially! Armed with some new tricks, Majin Buu is poised for
global destruction?
Goku watches helplessly from Other World as Majin Buu sets his sights on
Gohan. Luckily the Old Kai reveals a secret source of power that could
save the day.
After Majin Buu absorbs Gohan, Goku’s plan to join forces with his son
is ruined. But an unlikely ally arrives on the scene Vegeta
The newly-formed Saiyan warrior Super Vegito matches Majin Buu punch for
punch. But the monster’s new opponent stirs up an uncontrollable anger
within the very heart of the beast.
The battle rages on between Vegito and Majin Buu! The Super Saiyan Combo
seems to have the fight well in hand. But is Vegito tempting fate by
toying with Buu?
Having been reduced to a coffee-flavored candy, it seems nothing can
stop Vegito from being consumed by the evil Majin Buu. But when the
gumdrop fights back, Buu realizes that the battle is far from over!
When Majin Buu absorbs Vegito, the fused Saiyan separates into Goku and
Vegeta once again. Deep within the villain, they reveal their plan to
rescue Gohan and the others.
Dangers abound as Goku and Vegeta continue their search for Gohan and
inside of Majin Buu’s body! After meeting some disgusting bedfellows,
they finally find what they’re looking for as they enter Majin Buu’s
head!
Goku and Vegeta reunite the others only to be attacked by Majin Buu! The
showdown proves that fighting Buu inside his own head is a mind-bending
experience.
When Super Buu’s body begins to mutate once again, Goku and Vegeta have
to get out fast! But what awaits them should they manage to escape?
After the cords of attachment to the roly-poly Buu are cut by Vegeta,
Majin Buu should mutate into a much weaker form. But instead he gets
even stronger! This baffles everyone but Kibito Kai, who discloses Majin
Buu’s bizarre history!
With Earth erased from existence, Majin Buu begins his search for Goku
and Vegeta, leaving entire worlds destroyed in his wake. But when Buu’s
hunt leads him to the World of the Kais, Goku and Vegeta draw the line!
With Majin Buu ready for a fight, Kibito Kai is stunned to see Goku and
Vegeta playing a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors! Rather than use the
Fusion Technique to join their powers, the duo has decided to fight Buu
one at a time!
When Super Saiyan 3 Goku collapses from exhaustion, Vegeta enters the
fight, but he doesn’t last long! Just as Majin Buu is about to deliver
the deathblow, Goku makes a comeback!
Goku’s powers are fading, and he must end the battle before it’s too
late! Enter Vegeta, who begins a furious battle with Buu to buy Goku the
time needed to gather energy.
When Vegeta falls, Mr. Satan steps in to take up the challenge! It
appears the wannabe hero has signed his death warrant, but when Buu
attempts to attack, the monster is crippled by agony!
As good Majin Buu wages an all-out war against his evil counterpart,
Vegeta asks Dende to summon the Dragon on the new Planet Namek. With the
good Buu’s power dwindling, will Vegeta have enough time to carry out
the final phase of his plan?
Goku awaits the arrival of the Earthlings’ collective energy to vitalize the Spirit Bomb, but the energy isn’t coming!
The foolish Earthlings ignore Goku, but when Mr. Satan asks for help,
the humans have a change of heart. Will their outpouring of energy
arrive in time? Goku can only wait and watch as Vegeta crumbles under
the might of Majin Buu!
After the good Buu and Mr. Satan free Vegeta, Goku launches the Spirit
Bomb! Unfortunately, the weary Saiyan doesn’t have enough power to
deliver the blast, and Buu sends it right back at him!
When Goku and his companions return to Earth after defeating Majin Buu,
they are welcomed with open arms. But nobody is happy to see the good
Buu! Can Mr. Satan’s pink pal manage to fit into society? Or is he
destined to become an outcast?
Goku has his hands full guarding four dragon eggs from the dangers of
the wild, but even if he can save the baby dragons, he will soon face an
even more dangerous Chi Chi!
It’s been ten years since the demise of evil Majin Buu, and Earth is
once again at peace. Gohan is a scholar. Trunks and Goten are strong,
young teenagers!
A new World Tournament is set to begin! With help from Majin Buu, Goku
rigs the drawing so he faces a mysterious fighter in the first round of
the finals!
Episode 291 – Goku’s Next Journey DBZ Series Finale !
Uub grows stronger as the battle rages, soon becoming the Saiyan’s
equal, but before the match is decided, Goku makes a startling
revelation! With his plan revealed, Goku and Uub depart the arena,
leaving a stunned crowd in their wake.
